Where I Could Find You

There is such a foreign feeling in the aire
Slipping where you told me not to step
Where unknowingly, I wondered if I would find you here
Nodding your head in affirmation, that smile upon your lip

"It has been quite some time," and believe me, he couldn't
“It's true; I haven't visited this place for some time,
This new stranger represents everything the others didn’t.”
And I write down these constant visions and fairytales, only to confine

Confined because it had been too long
Strangled because the scars were still too deep
Hidden for reasons that seemed to prolong
Opened now for only you since talk is cheap

The gatekeeper sneers incredulously
But slowly lets me through
“I'd wish you'd trust me willingly”
says I, yet he’s still true.

It is worth it
You are incredible
Withstanding it
yet so susceptible

The next chapters don't confine
Humans of all sorts read the words and relate too well
Maybe with time
The story will finally write itself
