When I hear the lyrics of songs
which tickle fancies, I become completely
inspired and transpire the rest of my life
I'd like to actually see my words put to music
then maybe my lyrics would simplify someone else's
life, for the best
I wish I'd actually learned the art of music
patience wouldn't come and I threw
it all away, regretfully
The humble strum, the lyrical hum
the sounds carefully lay out a pattern of beauty
that will make everything better
Because it does. Because it will.
