For Today

I want to write a verse or two to tell you how I'm feeling, but my thoughts are on the floor and all the words are on the ceiling, without you I feel empty and I always want you near me, I've learned to sing a thousand songs in hopes that you will hear me, You're everything I've wanted and I find it so amusing, and if I'm losing anything, I don't care what I'm losing, I can always be myself whenever I'm around you, I'm looking for a clever way to say I'm glad I found you, I know sometimes I'm crazy and I tell you you're annoying, but even if I roll my eyes, please know that I'm enjoying every minute I'm with you, and I know this may sound creepy, but I always want to be with you, even if I'm sleepy, the way you make me feel is fun and wonderful and happy, this poem has definitely crossed the line of being way too sappy, so read it with an accent or pretend I didn't write it, but I know you like me very much so let's try not to fight it, "I think you're cool and attractive," you think you're really clever, You fit my personality and you're the best guy ever, and so I wrote this poem for you, because I'd like to say, I love you for tomorrow and I like you for today.
