time lapses like a bullet when one isn't anticipating the ending
but whilst shakily holding oneself up for powerful growth and stamina
creates a time lapse unending
ringing in the new year quickly erases old seconds
but those same ten seconds could last an eternity when the scene serendipitously
gets in the way
this same time reaches out to those feeling the most alone and passing the time
can make one cringe incredulously
but it escapes, hiding itself so completely that it can't be found
when with the one you love
me, myself & time
we aren't a friendly trio, for the time part completely controls us, secretly
forgotten and irrevocably restless
it never sways
