one lone tree in the midst of things insurmountable
simply cannot be tamed
for every one of it's leaves
dances with a different breeze
completely incomparable

catching daydreams in a jar
creates wishing a reality
making swift patterns along the glass
dancing and swirling, looking past
ends the search where you didn't seek very far

she's beautiful, covered from head to toe
gazing upon you, like she knows what you did
there isn't anything found that isn't lost
but finding wouldn't be worth the cost
unless you provide what you came to show

inconsiderate and absolutely alone
you find your daydream utterly shattered
this canvas isn't clean
covered in everything unseen
with vivid unspoken words that seem to atone
